Melanin Monroe
Owner / Writer / Videographer / Editor
The visionary behind Obsydia Studios. Melanin founded the studio with one goal: to prove that virtual filmmaking deserves the same respect as any indie production. She writes, directs, films, and edits every project that leaves the studio, from scripted drama series to music videos. When she's not behind the camera, she's building sets, casting talent, and running operations for a growing production company. Also the owner of Beaut L'Afrique. Her black is magical and her work speaks for itself.
Braxton Blackwood
Production Manager, Business Operations
Braxton is the operational backbone of Obsydia Studios. A builder, scripter, photographer, DJ, landscaper, and stylist, there's almost nothing in Second Life he can't do and he brings all of it to the table. He handles the business side of production so the creative side can run without friction. Founder of Kingdom of Noir and KING Founder Rigorous of Kappa Iota Nu Gamma Fraternity Inc.
Tyisha Blackwood
Production Manager, Partnerships & PR
Tyisha is the connective tissue between Obsydia Studios and the world outside it. She manages partnerships, public relations, and cast communications, making sure every person who touches a production feels informed, valued, and on schedule. Founder and Monarch of Delta Kappa Xi II, Big Sister Luminous, and a firm believer that those who can imagine anything can create the impossible.
Seth Ledco
Marketing Manager
Seth brings the ideas that move the needle. From the Social Media Rewards Contest to engagement strategies across Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook, he's always thinking about how to put more eyes on Obsydia's work. An SL adventurer and creator at heart, he's big on style, creativity, and community. If there's a way to make Obsydia louder, Seth is already pitching it.
Consuela Blanche
Videographer / VJ / DJ
Consuela has been creating in Second Life since 2007 and she's still evolving. As a videographer, VJ, and DJ, she brings a multimedia edge to every production she touches. Whether she's behind the camera, mixing visuals live, or setting the mood with a DJ set, Consuela adds layers to every project that make the final product hit different.
